Our Service Plan Options

Our rates are based on our knowledge, experience, and the value we bring to you. We offer three SERVICE PLANS to our clients, based on their individual needs.

  • Hourly
  • Project
  • Retainer

Our Retainer Plans reward our clients with a DISCOUNTED rate for on-going participation. By reserving a certain number of hours per month, we can also guarantee dedicated service time exclusively for your business. Fees for Retainer Plans are billed at the beginning of the month and require a signed contract. We also offer an automatic payment plan as a convenience to our clients.

Service Plan Option Rate Description / Advantages

STANDARD HOURLY PLAN

This is a set hourly rate that is invoiced on a monthly basis for work completed the previous month

 

$50 / hour

 

  • AS-NEEDED assistance

  • Hourly PAY-AS-YOU-GO (pay only for hours as you need them)
  • No long-term commitment
  • This is the perfect solution for quick projects and web maintenance.
  • Hourly services are billed in 15 minute increments, requiring a 1-hour minimum for all services.
  • Detailed time-sheets will be provided

PROJECT PLAN

A per-project job is based upon an estimate and is invoiced either monthly or upon completion of the project. Estimates are provided.

Lump Sum Project Plans

Lump Sum Project Plan Quotes will include a set Price/Hour with a maximum number of hours projected to complete your project.

Hourly Project Plans

Hourly Project Quotes will include a set Price/Hour for your project, with no specific projection of hours to complete your project.

RETAINER PLANS

This level of commitment is intended to be long-term and collaborative, allowing us to provide the highest level of support.

10-19 hours per month

  • services: 2-5 (approx) hours of administrative support per week as needed
  • includes up to one hour of phone collaboration

Support Plan B  

$45 / hour

 

20-39 hours per month

  • Services: 5-7½ (approx) hours of administrative support per week as needed
  • includes up to one hour of phone collaboration
  • unlimited e-mail access
  • monthly summary of accomplishments
Support Plan C  

$40 / hour

 

40+ hours per month

  • Services: 10 (approx) hours of administrative support per week as needed
  • includes up to one hour of phone collaboration
  • unlimited e-mail access
  • monthly summary of accomplishments
  • BONUS (free): Activity & Time Analysis & Report

Terms of Service

Terms of Service for RETAINER PLANS
  • Unused retainer hours are not refundable.

  • Unused retainer hours do not roll over to future months.
  • Any additional hours per month will be billed separately.
  • Extra charges may be applied for work required on a RUSH basis.
  • Retainer Plans are payable in advance by 1st of month
  • Plans may be upgraded or downgraded at any time with 14-day notice
  • Invoices are sent, via e-mail, fax or U.S. mail, whichever is most convenient for our clients.
  • Before work begins on any project, a signed Service Agreement/Contract is required for all plans.

Other Charges

Additional Expenses

  • Normal daily expenses for office supplies and equipment are our responsibility. However, supplies and materials required specifically for your project will be billed at actual cost. These may include: authorized/required purchases, photocopying, postage & shipping charges, specialty paper & materials, printing costs, local courier, photos/graphics image, etc
  • These items will be invoiced at cost and charged separately unless payment is required in advance for purchase/service.
  • We reserve the right to charge for any outside expenses from your Service Plan balance.

Travel Rates

  • For local errand/travel rates - The first 15 miles traveled are included in the hourly fee.
  • Travel over 15 miles will be billed at the current government mileage rate (2010 rate is 50 cents per mile)
  • Hourly rate is charged from the beginning of the task, upon leaving the Fort Payne office.

Rush Fee: A 20% surcharge may be added for after-hours and weekend requests, and rush jobs (work that requires less than 24-hour turnaround time).

Forms of Payment & Payment Terms

 

  • Payments may be made by business or personal check, money order, or cashier’s check – payable to THAT COMPUTER LADY.

  • Additionally, we can accept your credit card payments through our online payment service PayPal (using a secure, authorized PayPal account).
  • For your convenience, if using PayPal method, you will be able to pay electronically directly from your invoice.
  • All payments are required prior to the performance of work.
  • Payment must clear before work begins or finished product is delivered.
  • There will be a $30 fee for returned checks.
  • Invoices are payable upon receipt. A late fee of 15% will be charged for any unpaid bill 14 days past the date of invoice.
Other Terms (regarding pricing & payment)

 

  • A one-hour minimum required for all service plans / projects

  • All pricing will be agreed upon in advance unless otherwise stated, and a Service Agreement will be signed.
  • Large, one- to two-hour, and rush projects may be billed at slightly higher rates. These projects are always welcome but could require some clever scheduling in order to accommodate you.
  • After our initial consultation, should we agree that our partnership may be a good fit, Service Plan Options, including pricing, will be e-mailed to you for your review.

FAQs about our RATES and TERMS

What if I need more hours than my plan calls for?

Up to my level of availability, we will offer additional hours at the same rate.

Why would anyone want to retain more than the minimum number of hours?

To ensure our availability. If you only retain 10 hours, that's how much time we reserve for you. If you consistently need more hours per month, we'll adjust your retainer agreement, and we'll adjust our time and resources appropriately.

What if I retain 10 hours, but don't use them all?

Unused hours do not roll over. We want to work with clients who have more than enough work for us. We perform numerous services and many types of projects, achieving success in your business in the process. With growth and great planning, there is always more work for next month. With our retainer plans, your spot is reserved for you whether you use it or not.

Can I change the number of retainer hours each month?

No, that would cause chaos with everyone's schedules. We'll set a minimum (at 10 or above) and then work to find a balance that provides my availability and meets your work level needs.

Why do you recommend Retainer Plans instead of just hourly project work?

In order for us to make an impact on our client's business, we need to work enough hours to make a difference in your success. Working fewer than 10 hours (fewer than 2 work days in a standard work week!) per month makes it difficult to provide continuity or contribute significantly toward your success.
